There are three main reasons:
All purchased copies have already been assigned
Each eBook comes with a fixed number of allocations. Once they have all been used, no further copies are available to assign.
Your eBook allocations have expired
Boost eBook licences are time‑limited.
- Most expire one year after allocation.
-
Some titles have a two‑year allocation period.
Once a licence expires, it cannot be reused and no longer appears in your available total — which may cause your account to show 0 copies left.
-
Copies cannot be reallocated
It is not possible to remove an eBook allocation from one user and assign the same licence to someone else. Allocations are finite and permanently tied to the user they were given to.
How to purchase more copies
If your copies have expired or all available licences have been used, you can obtain more by:
- Logging in at hachettelearning.com to purchase additional eBook copies, or
- Contacting your local sales consultant, who can assist with ordering more licences for your school.
