Shine AMT and ART subscriptions include Progress Quizzes for you to administer post-intervention to check your learners' progress and retention.
Shine AMT subscriptions also include Strand Tests. These are used pre-intervention to determine the specific Learning Sequences a learner needs intervention in based on their AMT test results (each strand contains several Learning Sequences).
This article will show you how to assign the Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests and generate reports for them.
Assigning Shine AMT and ART Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests
- Log in to Boost Insights.
- Click Assign: tests, surveys & interventions.
- Select Shine Interventions: AMT or Shine Interventions: ART at the bottom of the page.
- Click the purple + Assign button above the calendar.
- Set the test date at the top of the assignment panel.
- Click + Add quiz to select a quiz or test, then + Add learner(s) to select the learners, classes, or groups you'd like to assign to.
- Click the gear icon to hide the test timer for learners; remove learners from the assignment by clicking the icon in the right-hand column. You can apply these settings individually or in bulk.
- Click Create.
Select the assignment on the test calendar to find the test taker URL. Your learners will use these to log in to the test/quiz.
You can review or edit a Progress quiz or Strand test assignment in the same way you review and edit a test assignment.
Generating reports for Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests
You can generate two reports for the Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests: the Interventions progress quiz report and the Interventions progress quiz: comparison view report.
To generate the reports:
- Log in to Boost Insights.
- Click Analyse data: dashboard & reports.
- Select Shine AMT or Shine ART.
- Select the report you'd like to generate.
- Tick the classes or groups you'd like to report on.
- Select the paper (or papers, for the comparison view) you'd like to report on.
