You can access the interventions/Learning Sequence resources via the reports included with your Shine subscription:
- Grouped intervention report: groups learners according to their score in each Area of Learning. If learners score below the intervention threshold then an intervention Learning Sequence will be recommended.
- Individual intervention report: shows the performance of an individual learner. If learners score below the intervention threshold in any Area of Learning an intervention Learning Sequence will be recommended.
Each Learning Sequence is a unit of remedial content that addresses an area of learning in each term. They are arranged in a specific order and contain instructions tailored to teachers and teaching assistants. You can download the support documents you'll need to use the Learning Sequences here.
Shine AMT and ART subscriptions include two additional reports for learners who've completed Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests. For more information, click here.
Generating Grouped and Individual intervention reports
- Log in to Boost Insights.
- Click Analyse data: dashboards & reports.
- Choose a test series.
- Select one of the Shine Interventions reports on the right.
- Select the learners, classes, or groups you'd like to report on.
- Click Generate report.
- Choose a test paper in the top left.
- Access the intervention / Learning Sequence resources by clicking the links in the report.
