Instead of adding learners manually or by uploading a CSV, you can generate a self-registration link for them instead. However, you must set up your classes first.
To enable self-registration for learners:
- Log in to Adaptive as the Access Coordinator.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Go to the orange Preferences tab.
- Tick 'Allow students to manage their own login credentials', then 'Allow students to self-register via this URL'.
- Click Copy link and paste the link somewhere your learners can access it.
When learners click the self-registration link, they will be prompted to enter their name and email address and select their class, then click Register. An email will be sent to them asking them to verify their account and create a password.
If your self-registration link stops working or you think it has been compromised, click Generate a new link to disable it and create a new one.
