Introduction
Instead of manually adding users to Boost Insights, you can import them by syncing with your MIS. It's free to set up and often much quicker.
Completing the initial sync set up will sync any existing users and import new ones immediately. Newly imported teachers will be sent a verification email to confirm their account and create a password, after which they'll be able to log in. Newly imported learners will automatically appear in the platform for testing and analysis.
New learners who join throughout the year will be automatically imported when they are detected in your MIS. However, the Access Coordinator will need to grant them access before they appear on marksheets, reports, and test assignments.
Note that synced learners are not automatically promoted to their next year group and class at the start of a new academic year. See Promoting Learners With an MIS Sync for further guidance.
Who can sync with Arbor?
You can only sync with Arbor if they are your MIS provider. If you use a different provider, see Syncing With Your MIS via Wonde.

If you are an international school, please sync with your MIS via Wonde instead.

The Access Coordinator
Only your Access Coordinator for Boost Insights can manage your MIS sync.
If you're not sure who your Access Coordinator is, click the Admin Hub icon in the bottom left corner of Boost Insights and go to Teachers > With Access. Look for the member of staff listed as the 'Access Coordinator' under the 'Role' column.
If you need to reassign the Access Coordinator role or can't see who the Access Coordinator is, contact the digital support team.
