The Access Coordinator can move teachers to the 'Pending deletion' tab. They'll be automatically deleted after six months, and they won't be able to log in to the platform during this time. You can remove a teacher from 'Pending deletion' if you change your mind.
If you need to delete users immediately, please follow the instructions below and then submit a GDPR consent form to the digital support team.
Deleting an account is permanent and will remove the user in question from your school's Hachette Learning account entirely, including platforms other than Hachette Learning Adaptive.
If a teacher needs access to other Hachette Learning platforms but you don't want them to access your Magazines account, revoke their access instead.
Deleting a teacher
- Log in to Hachette Learning Magazines as the Access Coordinator.
- Click the Admin Hub icon in the top right.
- Find the teacher you want to delete in Teachers > With Access / Limited Access / Without Access.
- If the teacher is in With Access or Limited Access, select their record and click Revoke Access in the bottom left to move them to Without Access.
- In Without Access, select the teacher you'd like to delete and click Delete Selected in the bottom right to move them to Pending Deletion.
In Pending Deletion, users marked 'Scheduled' in the Status column will be permanently deleted from your school's Hodder Education account after six months. Users marked 'Pending' cannot be scheduled for deletion. Click the 'Pending' status to see the specific reason why (for example, if they are the Access Coordinator for another platform).
If it is essential for your users to be deleted immediately, please submit a GDPR consent form to the digital support team. Select the option to 'Delete users from my institution's account' at the top of the form.
To cancel a pending deletion, select the teacher and then click Cancel deletion in the bottom left.
