You can import and update user data directly from your MIS.
Arbor customers can connect to Arbor directly. Most other major MIS providers can be connected via Wonde.
The following learner data is required: first name, middle name, last name, date of birth, gender, registration group, year group, home language, MIS ID, and UPN.
You'll also be asked to share contextual information: pupil premium, disadvantaged, service children, free school meals, Ever 6 free school meals, More able, SEN, Traveller, Looked after, Ever looked after, and ESL status.
Contextual information is used to populate contextual groups in Boost Insights. It is not used or visible in other platforms. Wonde customers who don't want to share this data should contact Wonde.
To authorise your MIS connection:
- Open the Admin Hub as the Access Coordinator.
- Go to School > MIS user import > Authorisation.
- Click Authorise under Arbor or Wonde.
- Follow the prompts in the authorisation portal.
- Return to School > MIS user import > Authorisation.
- Click Start import.
The remaining articles in this section will show you how to complete your MIS user import.
If you're authorising a connection with Wonde for the first time, then Wonde will audit the connection before you can start the import. This is normally completed within 24 hours. If you think you're stuck, contact Wonde.
