When sharing eBooks and resources in Boost Learning, you can click 'Generate a weblink' to create a weblink for your learners to claim access to the content as needed. Any learner with access to your Boost Learning account can use the link.
Be careful who you share the link with when sharing eBooks: eBooks cannot be re-allocated to other users.
Weblinks are valid for 28 days, after which you'll need to generate a new one to continue sharing. If you generate a new weblink for a resource before the 28 days is over then the original link will be deactivated.
To generate a weblink:
- Click Generate a weblink.
- CC other teachers to notify them of the share. (Optional)
- Click Next.
- Click Copy link.
- Paste the link somewhere your learners can access it.
- Click Done.
Once learners have claimed the content via the weblink, they do not need to use it again. Instead, they should log in to Boost Learning directly as normal.
