This message indicates that no data was received during the sync attempt with your MIS. This could be due to one of the following reasons:
- There may be restrictions on the type of data your MIS sync provider is allowed to share with us.
- The type of data may not exist in your school’s MIS—for example, some primary schools may not use subject classes.
-
There could be a connection issue between your MIS and the platform.
Things to check:
- Permissions in your MIS sync provider dashboard: Ensure that you’ve allowed the relevant data types (e.g. class, year group, subject class, teaching class) to be shared.
- Subject classes menu: If the error appears while viewing the subject classes menu, check whether you can still click the ‘Save and Sync’ button to proceed to the next step.
-
Reauthorise the sync: If you're still unable to complete the sync, try deauthorising and reauthorising the MIS sync connection from your Admin Hub.
