Exporting test data to FFT Aspire

CUSTOMER NOTICE (28/08/2025):

Automatically exporting test data from Boost Insights to FFT Aspire is currently under development and not yet available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 

You can manually download your Boost Insights data and upload it to your FFT account instead: 

  1. Download your Whole school gap analysis spreadsheet from Boost Insights.
  2. Download a spreadsheet template from the FFT Aspire platform while logged in to your FFT account.
  3. Copy the standardised scores from the whole school data export to the FFT spreadsheet template.
  4. Upload the FFT spreadsheet template to your FFT account.

You can automatically export Key Stage 1 and 2 test data to FFT Aspire Pupil Tracking from Boost Insights. For more information about FFT Aspire Pupil Tracking, visit the FFT Aspire Help Centre.

FFT supports the following test suites: 

  • New PiRA
  • New PUMA
  • New GAPS
  • NTS Reading
  • NTS Maths

Before you can enable data sharing with FFT Aspire, your school must have an FFT Aspire account. If you don't have one yet, register here or contact the FFT Aspire support team by emailing support@fft.org.uk or calling 01446 776262.

In addition, your learners must have UPNs in the Boost Insights Admin Hub. Although you can add these when adding your learners manually, we strongly recommend syncing with your MIS instead. 

To enable data sharing with FFT: 

  1. Log in to Boost Insights as the Access Coordinator.
  2. Click the Account details icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select Data sharing.
  4. Click On and untick any data points you don't want to export.
