Any teacher with access to your Boost Learning account can view you school's Reading Planet resources.
In contrast, learners don't have access to the content unless you share it with them. You can share whole topics, specific units/book bands, or individual eBooks and resources.
To get started:
- Log in to Boost Learning.
- Click Open a Course.
- Select a Reading Planet subscription.
- Follow the relevant instructions below.
Sharing all resources in a topic
On the Reading Planet subscription dashboard:
- Click the All resources tab.
- Find the topic you'd like to share.
- Click the triangular 'Share' icon next to the topic title on the right.
- Click Share.
- Tick 'Include all Knowledge Tests' and/or 'Include teacher-only resources'. (Optional)
- CC other teachers to notify them of the share and let them edit it in future. (Optional)
- Choose a Sharing option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the share.
If you'd like to share multiple topics at once, use the clipboard.
Sharing a specific unit/book band
On your chosen Reading Planet subscription dashboard:
- Click the All resources tab.
- Find the unit/book band you'd like to share.
- Click the triangular 'Share' icon next to the unit/band title on the right.
- Click Share.
- Tick 'Include all Knowledge Tests' and/or 'Include teacher-only resources'. (Optional)
- CC other teachers to notify them of the share and let them edit it in future. (Optional)
- Choose a Sharing option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the share.
If you'd like to share multiple units/book bands at once, use the clipboard.
Sharing individual eBooks/resources
On the Reading Planet subscription dashboard:
- Click the All resources tab.
- Find the eBook/resource you'd like to share.
- Click the triangular 'Share' icon on the eBook/resource tile.
- Click Share.
- Choose a Sharing option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the share.
If you'd like to share multiple eBooks/resources at once, use the clipboard.
