Creating custom Boost Lessons and Lesson folders

You can create custom Lesson folders and add your own Boost Lessons to them. 

To begin, log in to Boost Learning and click Plan a lesson on the main dashboard.

 

Creating a custom Lesson folder

  1. On the Lessons dashboard, click New folder.
  2. Name the Lesson folder. 
  3. Add a description. (Optional) 
  4. Link the folder to a Boost Course. (Optional) 
  5. Click Create.

If you link the Lesson folder to a Boost Course then it will appear under the Lessons tab on the Course's dashboard. It won't be visible to other teachers until you share it with them. 

 

 

Creating a custom Boost lesson

  1. On the Lessons dashboard, select a custom Lesson folder. 
  2. Click New Lesson. 
  3. Name the Lesson. 
  4. Add a description. (Optional)
  5. Click Add.
  6. Select the Lesson. 

Click + Resource/Test to add resources and Knowledge Tests from your Boost Course subscriptions to the Lesson. You can also upload your own resources. 

Click + New Section to divide the Lesson into sections. You can drag and drop resources between sections by clicking and holding the left-side of the tile.

Click the 'Play' icon at the top of the page to present the Lesson as a slideshow.
