Allowing learners to self-register in Boost Learning

Instead of adding learners to Boost Learning yourself, you can let them self-register via a link:

  1. Log in to Boost Learning. 
  2. Click Admin Hub in the top right. 
  3. Go to Preferences. 
  4. Tick 'Allow students to manage their own login credentials' and 'Allow students to self-register via this URL'. 
  5. Click Copy Link and paste the link somewhere secure for your learners to access it. 

When a learner clicks the link, they'll be prompted to enter their name and email address. They'll then receive a email asking them to verify their account and create a password. Once these steps are complete they can log in to the platform. 

In the Admin Hub, they'll appear under Students > With access. 

If your current link does not work or you think it has been compromised, you can disable it and generate a new one by clicking Generate a New Link. 

When a student clicks the self-registration link, they will need to fill in their name and email address. They will then be placed in Students > With access and sent an email prompting them to verify their email address and create a password. Once they've completed these steps, they'll be able to log in to Boost.
