Instead of adding learners to Boost Learning yourself, you can let them self-register via a link:
- Log in to Boost Learning.
- Click Admin Hub in the top right.
- Go to Preferences.
- Tick 'Allow students to manage their own login credentials' and 'Allow students to self-register via this URL'.
- Click Copy Link and paste the link somewhere secure for your learners to access it.
When a learner clicks the link, they'll be prompted to enter their name and email address. They'll then receive a email asking them to verify their account and create a password. Once these steps are complete they can log in to the platform.
In the Admin Hub, they'll appear under Students > With access.
If your current link does not work or you think it has been compromised, you can disable it and generate a new one by clicking Generate a New Link.
When a student clicks the self-registration link, they will need to fill in their name and email address. They will then be placed in Students > With access and sent an email prompting them to verify their email address and create a password. Once they've completed these steps, they'll be able to log in to Boost.
