The Access Coordinator can permanently delete users in Boost Insights.
This will remove them from your Hachette Learning account entirely, not just Boost Insights. We cannot recover test/user data belonging to permanently deleted users.
If a user no longer requires access to Boost Insights but does to other Hachette Learning platforms, revoke their access instead.
To permanently delete a user in Boost Insights:
- Log in to Boost Insights as the Access Coordinator.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Find the user you want to delete under Teachers or Pupils.
- If they are in With access. select them and click Revoke access.
- In Without access, select the user and click Delete selected.
Deleted users will sit in the 'Pending deletion' tab for six months before being automatically deleted. They will not be able to log in to the platform during this time. If you need to delete someone immediately, submit a GDPR consent form to the digital support team.
Users marked 'Pending' in the 'Status' column cannot be automatically deleted. Click Pending to see why. They will not be scheduled for deletion until the reason is resolved.
To cancel a user's pending deletion, select them and click Cancel deletion in the bottom left.
