Hachette Learning Academy courses comprise static and adaptive content.
We strongly recommend that you assign the whole course to learners at once, as this is how the courses have been designed.
However, you have the option of assigning the adaptive parts of a course as individual tasks if you choose.
Before you can assign the content to learners, they must be registered in the Admin Hub.
To assign a course's adaptive content to learners:
- Log in to Hachette Learning Academy. Select CPD admin when prompted.
- Click Assign adaptive content.
- Select the class or classes you'd like to assign the content to. You can assign content to whole classes or specific learners within them.
- Choose whether to notify learners that the assignment has been created or deleted. (This only applies to learners who are registered with an email address in the Admin Hub.)
- Select a course.
- Rename the assignment as desired.
- Set the assignment's availability and due dates.
- Click Save.
Once assigned, the course will appear as a card on the 'Your assigned courses panel' on the main dashboard. The adaptive content included in the course will be shown as separate cards.
The same will be true on the learners' dashboards.
