Teachers may see up to three kinds of eBook in Boost Learning:
- Teacher copies
- Student (loose) copies
- Unlimited (premium) copies
The content of an eBook is the same regardless of the version, but there are some differences in how they're shared and who can access them.
Teacher copies
Teacher copies are included with core Boost Course subscriptions. They cannot be purchased separately.
Any teacher with access to your Boost Learning account can use a teacher copy for the duration of the Course subscription. Teacher copies cannot be accessed by or allocated to learners.
Teacher copies are indicated by a red tag, or a green tag if you have Student copies as well.
Student (loose) copies
Student copies are loose eBook copies that can be allocated to learners registered to your Boost Learning account. They can also be allocated to teachers if you aren't subscribed to a Boost Course with a Teacher copy of the eBook.
Most student copies expire one or two years after the date of allocation. You can remove a copy from a user's account, but you cannot re-allocate it to someone else.
Student copies are indicated by a blue tag, or a green tag if you have a Teacher copy of the eBook as well.
Unlimited (premium) copies
Unlimited eBook copies are included with premium Boost Course subscriptions.
Any teacher with access to your Boost Learning account can access them by default, and they can be allocated to an unlimited number of learners. The copies will expire on the same date as the Course subscription.
Unlimited copies are indicated by a yellow tag.
