Please note that it can take up to 5 minutes after the upload has completed before the CPD learners are visible in the platform and can log in.
If you need to upload a large number of CPD learners at once, you can use a CSV template downloaded from the Admin Hub. However, you must set up a class for them first.
NOTE: Because all of our platforms are connected to the same user management system, you may find that some of your regular learners are listed under the 'Students' tab. If they are in 'With access', revoke their access to ensure that only your CPD learners have access to Academy.
To add CPD learners in bulk:
- Log in to Academy.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Go to Students > With access.
- Click Import CSV, then Download a template.
- Populate the CSV according to our CSV guidelines. You MUST register CDP learners with a username and password instead of an email address. For more information, click here.
- Return to Students > With access and click Import CSV again.
- Click Select your CSV... and select your completed template.
- Click Upload the CSV.
A pop-up window will show the status of your upload, including your position in the upload queue. If any records fail to upload, you'll be able to download a copy of your CSV with the error messages. You can correct and reupload this CSV to import the rejected learners.
During peak times, like the start of a new academic year, your CSV upload will take longer than normal. If your file says it has been validated and is pending processing, rest assured that your file is in the queue. You can exit the Admin Hub if needed without cancelling the upload.
To log in, CPD learners must enter the username and password you have created for them, as well as your centre ID. This is the number underneath your school/institution name at the top of the Admin Hub.
