If a user needs access to other Hachette Learning platforms but you don't want them to access Academy, you can revoke their access to the platform.
Otherwise, the Access Coordinator can move users to the 'Pending Deletion' tab, where they will be automatically deleted after six months. They will not be able to log in to Academy during this time.
Permanently deleting a user will remove their record from your school's Hachette Learning account, including platforms other than Academy.
To delete a user:
- Log in to Academy as the Access Coordinator.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Go to the Teachers tab and find the user you want to delete.
- If the user is in 'With access', select their record and click Revoke access.
- In Without access, select their record and click Delete selected.
Users 'Scheduled' for deletion in the 'Status' column will be permanently deleted from your school's Hachette Learning account after six months. Users 'Pending' deletion cannot be deleted. Click Pending to see why.
To delete users immediately, submit a GDPR consent form to the digital support team.
Select a user and click Cancel deletion to remove them from the 'Pending deletion' tab.
