Introduction
There are two different ways to find articles in Hachette Learning Magazines. You can browse them manually by selecting the series, volume, and issue, or you can use the search bar.
Searching Articles
The search bar can be found in the centre of the homepage and in the top left corner of each subsequent page. Enter your search terms and press 'Enter' or click the magnifying glass to initiate a search.
Search Results
Search results are displayed as a list of articles. Each result includes the article's title, publication date, and magazine series. You can sort your results by relevance or date by clicking the dropdown box in the top right corner.
A padlock icon indicates that you are not subscribed to that article's corresponding volume. Visit the Hachette Learning website or contact your local sales consultant to take out a new subscription.
Filtering Search Results
You can filter your search results by topic and/or magazine volume. Applied filters will appear at the bottom of the 'Filters' list. Clear them by clicking Click Filters at the top.
Filtering Results by Topic
- Click the Topics tab under the 'Filters' menu on the left.
- Select a magazine title to see topic areas relevant to that subject.
- Tick the topic headings you'd like to search within. You can tick headings from multiple subjects/magazines.
Filtering Results by Magazine Series or Volume
- Click the Magazines tab under the 'Filters' menu on the left.
- Select a magazine title.
- Tick the magazine volume you'd like to search within. You can only tick one volume at a time.
