The Access Coordinator can edit learners in bulk by exporting them on a CSV file from the Admin Hub.
Editable fields include the learner's name, email address/username and password, interface, and class. You can also grant and revoke access to learners using the template.
Please note that Admin Hub changes can take up to 5 minutes to take effect in Hachette Learning Adaptive.
Editing Learners in Bulk via CSV
- Log in to Hachette Learning Adaptive as the Access Coordinator.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Go to Students > With access and click Export CSV in the bottom right.
- Click Export CSV.
- Edit the CSV file according to our CSV guidelines.
- Return to the Students > With access tab and click Import CSV in the bottom right.
- Click Select your CSV... and select the edited file.
- Click Upload CSV.
A pop-up window will show the status of your upload. If any records fail to upload, then you will be able to download a copy of your CSV with the error messages. You can correct and reupload this CSV to import the rejected learners.
During peak times, like the start of a new academic year, your CSV upload will take longer than normal. If your file says it has been validated and is pending processing, rest assured that your file is in the queue. You can exit the Admin Hub if needed without cancelling the upload.
If you are concerned that your file has become stuck (i.e. it has remained as processing for more than 24 hours since the time you uploaded it), please contact the digital support team.
