Contextual groups are predefined groups in Boost Insights that are automatically populated by learners when the relevant information is added to their Admin Hub record. You can find them in the Admin Hub under Groups > Contextual Groups.
Please note that contextual groups are not currently visible in Boost Insights itself.
The full list of contextual groups is as follows:
- Pupil premium
- Non-pupil premium
- Disadvantaged
- Service children
- Free school meals
- Ever 6 free school meals
- More able
- SEN
- Traveller
- Looked after
- Ever looked after
- English as second language (ESL)
If you import your learners by syncing with your MIS, then you will be given the option of importing the data required for the contextual groups during set up. You can edit the approved fields at any time by logging in to your Wonde or Arbor account, depending on which one you are synced with.
Please note that Wonde syncs do not detect SEN or Traveller status.
If you manage your learners manually, you can add their contextual information during account creation or by editing them after the fact, either directly or via CSV.
