All of our platforms pull from the same user management system. Consequently, when a user is added to one platform, they will be visible in the others at the same time, although they will not able to log in to the other platforms by default.
For example, if a staff member is added to the Boost Learning Admin Hub, then they will also appear in the Hachette Learning Adaptive Admin Hub under Teachers > Without access.
The Access Coordinator for each platform can grant access to users as needed. They can also revoke access to users without having to permanently delete them from your Hachette Learning account as a whole. This is to help you comply with GDPR and manage your users effectively.
Please note that Admin Hub changes can take up to 5 minutes to take effect in Hachette Learning Adaptive.
Managing access requests
Staff and learners registered with email addresses can send an access request by logging in to Hachette Learning Adaptive and clicking Click here to send an automated request your Access Coordinator.

The Access Coordinator will receive an email notification of the request. They will also see a list of outstanding requests when they log in to the platform, which they can grant or deny:

Granting and revoking user access via the Admin Hub
In addition to managing access requests, the Access Coordinator can grant and revoke access to users at any time via the Admin Hub. The process is the same for staff and learners.
- Log in to Hachette Learning Adaptive as the Access Coordinator.
- Click Admin Hub in the bottom left.
- Find the staff member/learner you'd like to grant access to in Teachers/Students > Without access.
- Select the user and click Grant access to selected in the bottom left.
Revoking access follows the same basic steps. However, you'll need to look for the staff you want to revoke access to under Teachers > With access instead, then click Revoke access in the bottom left.
Note that revoking access to a user is not the same as deleting them. If you would like to permanently delete a staff member from your school's Hachette Learning account, click here.
