Set Up Your Year and Registration Groups
Before syncing with Arbor, you must enable the year groups you'd like to import and create your registration groups. You don't need to populate the registration groups at this stage: this will happen when you complete the sync.
- Log in to Boost Insights as the Access Coordinator.
- Click the Admin Hub icon in the bottom left.
- Go to School > Year group settings.
- Tick the year groups you'd like to import and click Save. You can rename the year groups as desired.
- Go to the purple Classes tab.
- Click New Class in the bottom right.
- Name the class and add a description if you like (the teacher's name, for example), then click Save Class.
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 for each class you'd like to import.
Authorise the Sync in Boost Insights
Once you've set up your year groups and classes, you're ready to authorise the connection to Arbor.
- Log in to Boost Insights as the Access Coordinator.
- Click the Admin Hub icon in the bottom left.
- Go to School > MIS data sync > Authorisation.
- Click Authorise on the 'Arbor' icon.
- Enter your Arbor login credentials in the connection portal.
- Review the the Hodder Education app's required permissions list and click Approve to return to the Boost Insights Admin Hub.
Once the connection is authorised, you will be able to see the Hodder Education app in your 'Approved Apps' list in Arbor.
